€325.00
In one go, or spread over 3 monthly payments of €108.33, €108.33 and €108.34.
€350.00 in total: €25.00 to reserve the place and €325.00 for the rest. Spread out, that is €108.33 + €108.33 + €108.34.
You choose when each payment goes out: the organisers take no automatic payments and do not store your card details. You start each payment yourself from your personal area, and you get an email reminder at least 5 days before every due date.
If you want to spread the payments, you must choose that before 7 December.
Why €350.00? Because this is not a swim in a pool. Crossing a working ría means coordinating every leg with the Harbourmaster and the harbour pilots, and keeping kayaks, support boats and rescue craft along the whole 27 kilometres — and the fuel that takes. Sponsors cover a good part of it; the rest you can spread out.
The route
A swim that runs on the tide
The Batalla de Rande is not swum against a clock; it is swum with the ría. Waves set off by pace from Playa de Rodas, in the Cíes Islands, cross open water to the Vigo shore and enter the San Simón inlet on the rising tide.

You don't have to swim it to watch it
For one day, the ría belongs to them
It begins before dawn on a national park beach and ends as evening falls on an island. In between, a column of swimmers, kayaks and support boats works its way 27 kilometres down the middle of the ría, passes under the Rande Bridge and enters the San Simón inlet.
There are no grandstands. You watch from the shore, from the bridge, from the water. And it does not last a race: it lasts a whole day.
