Fill in the form. Nothing to pay yet.

    The remaining amount

    €325.00

In one go, or spread over up to 3 monthly payments of €108.33, €108.33 and €108.34.

You choose when you pay. The organisers take no automatic payments and do not store your card details: you start each payment yourself from your personal area. You will get an email reminder at least 5 days before every due date.

If you want to spread the payments, you must choose that before 7 December 2026. Choose it when you pay the reservation and the first instalment falls due that same 7 November; choose it later and it falls due on the day you choose. The rest follow month by month.

What the fee is holding up

This is not a swim in a pool

The Batalla de Rande does not cross a roped-off beach: it crosses a working ría. While the swimmers are out there, the port of Vigo keeps running — cargo ships, fishing boats, cruise ships, the passenger ferries — and every leg is coordinated with the Harbourmaster, the harbour pilots and the Guardia Civil. That time window is negotiated months in advance.

Behind every wave there is a safety operation you cannot see from the shore: kayaks, support boats, a rescue craft, wave leaders and race directors spread along the 27 kilometres, seven feed stations on the water, insurance, timing and GPS tracking.

The 2026 edition, in numbers

115

swimmers

97

volunteers

61

boats

4,000

km under power

Among those volunteers, 30 kayakers, 11 medical staff and 4 lifeguards. Plus 500 kg of food and 1,500 litres of drink taken out onto the water.

That is close to one volunteer per swimmer, and more than one boat for every two.

And nearly all of it floats and burns fuel. Every fuel rise lands on this swim in full, and so will the next ones.

Even so, entry fees do not carry it alone. Every year the club works on sponsors, supporters and public bodies to keep the fee from rising: the list of supporters on this site is, in large part, what you are not paying.

Which is why you can spread it over three interest-free instalments. The safety cover does not get cut; the money, at least, can be spread out.
